Dine at one or ALL of these local establishments during the month of March, and 10% of your bill, or more, will be donated to Meals on Wheels of Mercer County to help provide meals for the homebound. Meals on Wheels of Mercer County is committed to providing nutritious meals and related services which are designed to promote the independence, dignity, health and well-being of our homebound customers.
Description
Meals on Wheels of Mercer County provides home-delivered meals five days per week to individuals who are homebound due to age, illness, or mental/physical disability. Clients receive one hot meal, and up to two additional cold meals daily if necessary.
Meal recipients are also provided non-perishable groceries, educational/informational flyers, and additional items like pet food and adult protective underwear when available.
Volunteers deliver the daily meals, to residents of Trenton, Ewing, Hamilton, Princeton, East Windsor, West Windsor and Lawrence Townships.
