At Kindred Hospice, we value the service of Veterans to our country and that's why we participate in the We Honor Veterans program, a collaboration between the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and Department of Veterans Affairs.
Come and join us in our mission to make a difference and help improve our Veteran hospice patients quality of life by providing a compassionate presence and support to them and their families in the Avon/Lebanon, IN area.
A unique bond is formed when a hospice patient who is a Veteran is matched with a volunteer who is also Veteran. Volunteers who are Veterans are integral to our Veteran recognition program by assisting with pinning ceremonies and memorial services.
Volunteers who are Veterans have the opportunity to touch the lives of our hospice patients and families in a very special way. Contact us to learn more.

Kindred Hospice is a provider of end of life care, serving more people than any other hospice provider in the country.
In Avon and surrounding communities, we have a small, personable and dynamic team of doctors, nurses, hospice aides, spiritual care providers, and social workers, who serve to offer excellent care to our hospice patients and their families.
Volunteers are an essential part of our interdisciplinary team, that help provide both administrative and in-home non-clinical patient support.
