Big Jim's Walk Foundation is a non profit organization that is bringing awareness, resources, building and maintaining free faith based recovery programs in the United States of America.

Description

Big Jim's Walk Foundation is comprised of addicts, alcoholics, pastors, addiction counseling professionals, and others that have a direct or indirect connection with addiction. This foundation is a grass roots foundation early in its infancy but has already mad a tremendous impact in the War on Addiction.
James Downs, aka Big Jim, started the foundation in 2016 after being delivered from a lifelong 34 year battle with addiction. After seeing all but 4 out of 126 men relapse while in the program as well as 6 loose their life because of overdose, Jim was convicted by God to do something. Through a traumatic series of events that would forever change Big Jim's life, he left the front doors of his 16 month long recovery program and started a walk across america bringing the message of hope in Jesus Christ and awareness to the epidemic of addiction. BIG JIM'S WALK FOUNDATION was born.
This foundation is all about reaching out, saving lives and saving souls, bringing awareness to addiction and providing resources to small town America. Also, Big Jim received what he calls an assignment or vision from the Holy Spirit, to build C.A.M.P. REDEMPTION. A large scale free recovery program that will teach a person more in depth about themselves, addiction, and provide them with the life changing tools of salvation and deliverance.
