Daily Cat Care. Cat-loving individuals are needed everyday (7 days a week) to clean the cages that house the Second Chance Cats at Petsmart at NE Vivion and Antioch in the Northland of Kansas City. Because it is also required that volunteers love on and play with the cats, it takes between 1 1/2 - 2 hours. The cages must be cleaned early in the day between 7:00 am and 10:00 am. Cleaning consists of (but is not limited to) sweeping up/scooping litter, changing litter boxes, washing dishes, changing bedding, sanitizing solid surfaces, cleaning plexiglass doors, sweeping/mopping floors, taking out garbage, feeding cats, signing in/out and making notes about conditions, etc. Volunteers will be trained and work with experienced cleaners. Weekly or bi-weekly help is preferred. Cats show volunteers great love and appreciation.

Adoptions are currently held at Petsmart located at 8970 NW Skyview Ave. Kansas City Mo 64154. It's located off of 152 Hwy and Ambassador Drive in the Northland. Adoptions of small dogs and puppies are available on Saturdays from 11-2
