San Jose Municipal Rose Garden Needs Your Help!

The roses are beginning to leaf out, but the weeds are popping up and starting their growth. Therefore, we want to do some gardening tasks to curb their growth. Come work the earth and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment as we clear the rose beds of invasive plants.

Please bring a filled water bottle
Wear closed-toe shoes
Free parking is available all around the park
Training provided
The event goes on: rain or shine!

The mission of the Volunteer Management Unit is to create and support opportunities for community participation, in partnership with staff, which support successful completion of projects and programs to enhance the maintenance of public parks and the delivery of services for the benefit of the public.

The City of San Jose Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services Division's Volunteer Management Unit serves the community by providing meaningful, safe and inspiring volunteer projects for those that enjoy the healthy benefits of environmental and community service.
