Clinic volunteers begin by observing animals as they are waking up from surgery. These volunteers will communicate with clinic staff if they observe any signs of distress in our pets. These volunteers must have a strong constitution, a strong attention to detail, observant, and unafraid to communicate when something comes up. Volunteers should be flexible and have a sense of humor. Finally, volunteers in the clinic must be quick to respond with sound judgement. Volunteers in this position have the opportunity to become more involved in other ways over time.
