Heartland Hospice provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support for terminally ill patients and their families. With the help of volunteers-patients and family members can spend the remaining time living with the dignity and respect all people deserve. Volunteers role would include but NOT limited to....
- Provide relief for family caregivers;
- Prepare light meals for patient;
- Read to the patient;
- Write letters for patients;
- Play cards and/or games;
- Be a link with the outside world;
- Listen to music together or play music;
- Life review with patient;
