Join us at the Nisqually Land Trust's Yelm Shoreline protected area for a morning of removing protective tree tubes!

Since 2010, we have planted nearly 17,000 trees and shrubs at this site. When planting these seedlings, we install plastic tubes around them to give them the best chance of survival. Once they become established, we remove the tubes, creating space for the plants to grow.
