About

The Auburn Avenue Research Library is the first public library in the Southeast to offer specialized reference and archival collections dedicated to the study and research of African American culture and history and of other peoples of African descent. Volunteers are needed to assist with a Reference Department scanning project on Mondays 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 4:00-5:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. An application is required before placement and a minimum commitment of 8 shifts/8 hours is required.
