Best Buddies Tampa Bay will host its 2018 Friendship Ball on February 25th, 2018 at the Double Tree Westshore Airport Hotel. The Best Buddies Friendship Ball is our most anticipated event of the year and this year we will have over 600 students in attendance. This ball is a Prom put on for all of the Best Buddies participants with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This winter celebration gives all students the opportunity to experience a high school prom free of judgment and insecurities. A king and queen from each school chapter will be crowned this evening and a special parent room presentation will be held. A night to celebrate friendships with music, food and unforgettable memories!
We are looking for several volunteers to help out with attendee registration, serving food and beverages to the students, chaperoning the dance and setting/cleaning up.
We ask that volunteers are at least 16 or older, and come to the event wearing black.
