We are looking for caring compassionate people to warm the hearts of the elderly. You will walk away with an amazing warmth in yours as well. Sometimes by just taking a few hours out of your month to sit with someone makes such an impact in a person's life. A animal is a different kind of comfort that you feel in your soul and right now that is what some of our patients need. A different kind of comfort, if you can open your heart and help bring a smile to just one person it makes a difference. we are seeking caring individuals who have a licensed therapy dog who are willing to visit hospice patients who reside in nursing home facilities.

Description
Grace Hospice cares for patients whose medical conditions are not responding to treatment or for those patients who choose to not seek aggressive medical care at the end stage of life. Hospice focuses on comfort care rather than curative care. The goal of hospice is for patients to remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in their own home or the home of a loved one through the end of life. Care can also be provided in a long-term care facility or an assisted living facility.
