StreetSquash Newark

We are looking for academic tutors, as well as squash volunteers in Madison, NJ!

StreetSquash-Newark is an academic and athletic after-school program serving students in the 7th-12th grade. We are looking for volunteer tutors, and volunteer squash players for all weekdays in Montclair.

  • Tutors: StreetSquash Newark Academic Tutors work with 1-2 students during after-school homework sessions. Our tutors assist 9th - 12th-grade students with math, English, history and science homework. These sessions occur from 3:45-6:00 pm every weekday at Drew University under the supervision of our Academic Director.
  • Squash Coaches: StreetSquash Newark Volunteer Squash Players join StreetSquash students on the courts for basic drills, training, and games. Squash players of all levels are needed for our practice from 3:45-6:00 pm every weekday at Drew University. These sessions are led and supervised by our Squash Director.

The best thing about becoming a StreetSquash volunteer is meeting great young people and making a difference in their lives - whether you can make it once a week or once in awhile, we encourage you to get involved. Please contact us with your interest and availability to tutor in our academic sessions, or to assist with Squash practices!
