Empowering youth to stay in school!

Children cannot learn at their potential when they are in crisis or face significant non-academic needs. Most students who drop out of school are dealing with multiple problems that present barriers to their education: poverty, unattended health needs, hunger, an unemployed parent, domestic violence.

Our mission: Communities In Schools of Central Texas surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

We are seeking administrative help at our Central Office to assist with the following tasks:

  • Assist in setting up internal appointments with staff
  • Assemble marketing folders
  • Review documents using Excel and Word looking for typos, grammar errors and other discrepancies
  • Place catering orders using established vendors
  • Assist with event planning
  • Assist with High School Graduation celebration prep, ordering supplies
  • Scanning large volume of documents for electronic storage
  • Assist with meeting room setup

Looking for someone eager to learn or expand knowledge in Outlook, Excel, Word and able to work up 4 to 5 hours a week. You will be working closely with the administrative coordinator in a casual work environment,
