Looking to build your portfolio? Help us create a short fundraising video for literacy!
Words Alive is looking to recruit a volunteer who has professional videography knowledge and experience to create a 2-minute video used for grant writing purposes. We are looking for someone who can shoot in MP4, AVI, or WMV, has film and sound editing experience, and has their own equipment. Shooting will take place indoors and outside.
This is a great opportunity to build your professional portfolio, partner with the leading literacy nonprofit of San Diego County, and work for a great cause. We would love to meet with you to review your past projects.
Goals and outcomes:
To provide Words Alive with a short, 2-minute, media-quality video to use for grant writing and for general promotion.
Ideal volunteers Should:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have at least 1-year experience filming and editing
- Be professional, punctual, and communicative
- Have a positive attitude
- Have reliable transportation
- Have their own equipment
Hours and location:
Hours and location may vary based on the project. We are flexible and can accommodate school schedules.
Required Paperwork and training:
Successful candidates will submit a resume and be able to show a sample of a previous film project.
