ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter

Join our 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer's Planning committee and help us grow our Walk in Portland! The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the worlds largest event to raise funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. We are looking for a strong leader, who is a door opener, a networker, passionate about their community, and organized to help oversee our 2018 Team Recruitment efforts. The Team Recruitment Chair serves as the primary lead for recruiting new Walk teams and executing the New Team Captain Kick-Off in June helping with committee support to fill the room with strong prospects. The Team Recruitment Chair will help identify key potential Team Captains from all sectors of the community and provide fundraising support. As the Team Recruitment Chair you will have access to a full time Staff Partner to help you in this role, along with the other volunteer leads including the Event Chair and Event Co-Chair. Ongoing training opportunities are available. Use your time, talent, and leadership to help us walk toward the end of Alzheimer's. The Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter is part of the Alzheimer’s Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. From its offices in Portland, Bend and Medford, the Oregon Chapter provides education and support for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as their families and caregivers. In addition, it offers local support groups, early-stage engagement programs, community education classes and a 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900).
