Elite Hospice volunteers serve a number of different functions to help fit the needs of the patients and families in Asotin, Garfield, Latah, and Nez Perce counties. We also look to match the skills, talents and interests of our volunteers to the patient's needs. A patient care volunteer spends one on one time with hospice patients and their families. They may play music together, tell stories, watch TV, give hair cuts, scrapbook and more. They may also assist the bereaved. A community volunteer provides much needed services to patients and families by cutting their lawns, shoveling snow, and doing tasks like light housekeeping. A clerical volunteer assists in the office with party planning, our bereavement program and other special projects. Whatever area you are interested in we can work to find a place for you!
