Need someone to volunteer and assist Sr. Ellen Anne with her donation area for her yard sales. Must be able to get dirty, able to organize , move racks and boxes around. Need to be able to drop off over stock of donations to other non profit locations.
Monday - Friday once a week for a few hours. Anytime after 9 AM and before 4 PM.
We are on lock down right now and you can not come into the building. Sr. Ellen Anne or Maria Ann would meet with you in the back gated area where your assignment will be. Volunteer Orientation will be virtual via zoom conference call.
We will provide you a mask when to wear when someone comes to talk with you, bottle water, and hand sanitizer.

Mission Statement
The Little Sisters of the Poor are an international congregation of Roman Catholic women religious founded in 1839 by Saint Jeanne Jugan. Together with a diverse network of collaborators, we serve the elderly poor in over 30 countries around the world. Continuing the work of Saint Jeanne Jugan, our mission is to offer the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family, and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to himself.
Description
Since 1901 at the same location in Mobile, Alabama, we have worked hard to give compassionate care to elderly men and women of the Gulf Coast region who have outlived their resources. More than 4,000 people from all walks of life, of all religions and beliefs, have made their home with us in Mobile.
