Plaza Townhomes5802 N Michigan Ave.Portland, OR 97217

At-risk children need academic support and strong adult role models to grow up healthy, successful, and engaged! Be the one to reach out to low-income children and families through providing tutoring during after school clubs at any one of four local housing sites.

  • Aid students in homework completion to build success and self-confidence
  • Supervise computer lab and join in the creativity
  • Facilitate reading groups to encourage a life-long love of reading
  • Develop your own enrichment project with staff support

If you are up for the challenge of providing a foundation for children of varying ages to excel in school, we invite you to join us. Pick a day, pick a site, and enjoy one-on-one training and support for one afternoon a week. And watch as you change lives!

We ask that you be willing to make a 6-month commitment to building relationships and receive criminal history clearance.
