Ready Runner volunteers assist staff and families by being a family assistant, general lobby helper, and wagon/wheelchair rounder. To ensure patient safety/infection control, this volunteer will assist in keeping the lobby and all outpatient areas neat and will round up stray wagons and wheelchairs, as well as assist patients and families by escorting them to different areas throughout the hospital.
Must be personable, have good communication skills, and be able to stand and walk for three hours. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (with regular breaks and 30-minute lunch.)
