Ambassador volunteers support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by warmly greeting all who enter the main lobbies. Ambassadors are responsible for being a friendly face, providing patients and families with daily information about events at the hospital, answering any questions, promoting patient and family centered care activities and events, providing directions and much more. These volunteers play a vital role in the patient and family experience by providing an extra layer of customer service and stress relief for them as they enter the hospital.
Must be personable, friendly, have great communication skills, and be able to stand for three hours. Ambassador shifts are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (with regular breaks.)
