Small Paws and Playful Claws is 501(c)(3) nonprofit kitten rescue that relies solely on volunteers to open their homes and hearts to fostering kittens. Our rescue does not have a physical shelter. Kittens 8 weeks old and younger are the most euthanized population in shelters. Most shelters do not have the resources, expertise or the room for litters of newborn kittens. Young kittens also do not have mature immune systems making them more likely to catch disease in a shelter setting. A foster home allows these orphaned kittens a shot at finding a fur-ever family. There are opportunities available for neonatal bottle feeders and kittens 5 weeks and older (bottle feeding not required). Fostering and saving kittens is amazing and rewarding!

Mission Statement
To help reduce the number of adoptable kittens euthanized at no fault of their own in over-crowded kill shelters and finding them forever homes.
Description
Small Paws and Playful Claws Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Here at our rescue kittens are given a second chance at life. We take in orphaned and stray kittens, provide them with needed vet care, shower them with love, and then place them in their new forever homes.
Through donations, volunteers, and hard work, we can all work together to end the senseless practice of kill shelters. If everyone adopted their next pet instead of buying from a pet store or breeder, millions of dogs and cats in shelters would be saved yearly.
