SOAR Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization looking for 20+ volunteers for the upcoming Braves season.
We are seeking volunteers to work the concession stand, which is a great opportunity to help raise funds for our organization. We are planning now so that we can prepare accordingly and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to attend all training dates before the season begins on March 29th.
QUALIFICATIONS
~Volunteers MUST be 18 years of age or older
~Volunteers MUST be willing to work ALL or MOST games per home-stand. (Average home-stands are 3 day and 6 day home-stands consecutive games. We are working ALL 82 home games)
~Volunteers MUST be willing to obtain an alcohol permit. ALL volunteers must get this in order to work. ($30 fee; can be waived, ask us how). NO FELONIES w/in the last 5 years.
~Volunteers MUST be willing to work 5-8 hours per game. (Average is 5-6 hours)
~We prefer volunteers who have experience in food handling, cashiering, customer service, counting inventory(!!) and management, but no experience is required. Must be quick on your feet, this is a fast paced environment.
Among the volunteers we are also looking for Managers to help lead our team.
This is a paid gig and volunteers will receive their pay at the end of each game. All volunteers will receive a stipend for every game worked. (Avg $50-$60 per game)

Description
SOAR Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to assisting at-risk youth and juveniles in making positive transitions in their life. We assist those who primarily have the highest risk of facing incarceration due to the lifestyle they may live or environment they are surrounded in. We are advocates in the Court for our participants and can be used as a diversion program in lieu of prison or jail time. We also assist adults who may face these challenges as well.
We assist our participants in the areas of behavioral/mental counseling, employment, housing and educational opportunities, as well as obtaining basic necessities. Participants meet weekly for group sessions and counseling.
