Help those less fortunate in our community! Using an app, we are Food Rescue US- Miami and rescue unused food, produce, and prepared dishes that are usually thrown out and instead, "rescue" them and send them directly to soup kitchens and homeless shelters in Miami.
Food Rescue US is a National non-profit 501C3, that uses technology through their app to match donors such as farmers markets, restaurants, and supermarkets with receiving agencies such as churches, missions and homeless shelters that serve the hungry and food insecure.
Donors include Whole Foods, Hard Rock Stadium, Starbucks and local restaurants and markets.
We are looking for more food donors and volunteer rescuers/runners to pick up from local donors and transport to receiving agencies using the simple Food Rescue US app to determine pick up needs.
