A talented artist is needed to help us create a suite of logos for The 1City Academy, a new nonprofit that will offer an array of sports, arts and academic programs for children in New York and New Jersey.
You can probably see the current 1City logo featured on this ad - but that was done when 1City was only going to be a Christian School. Now, 1City will feature Christian and community programs that are school-based and extracurricular so we will need a new logo.
The logos will be featured on our social media pages, documents, uniforms, and other promotional items, so the design has to be versatile enough to look good on various media and the final piece should be provided in various formats (JPEG, etc.).
For an example of another 1City logo, please visit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/1CityAcademy. Our older logo was done in a variety of colors and our newest one was done in forms of purple and gray. The new logo should also be done in shades of purple and gray and we would like to stick with a "city" theme.
We have no particular time constraints on this. We will serve as the artist's professional reference and will credit his/her work on our social media and website (once that is developed).

The mission of MJHS is to aid in the provision of quality education and sound character building programs for young people.
Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
