The NorCal Resilience Network is an exciting new organization building resilience through the promotion of people-powered, nature-inspired, and community-based solutions to the most pressing social and environmental problems of our time. Our work increases capacity for grassroots projects and programs, builds solidarity across divides of race, class, sector and region, and broadens support for the Northern California community resilience movement as a whole.

We are seeking volunteers to support the following online communications projects:

Website support: Help us to update our website, including our events calendar.
Social Media, Stories and Research: Support our promotional and marketing through stories and social media. If you like to write and work on social media, please come help us out! We also have opportunities available for research related to local resilience.
Database Management: We would love support with updating our database management systems and sending notes to our donors.

We will be hosting a volunteer orientation on the last Monday of each month, 3-4 pm (the Sept. orientation is on Sept. 28th). Please contact us if you are interested in attending: volunteer@norcalresilience.org.

We ask that you commit to at least 2 hours per week, and for at least two months. You can fill out a volunteer application here:
