The Light 11 Education/Violent Crime Social Media Curator will be responsible for the collection, and research of all content posted to Light 11’s social media accounts regarding educational and/or violent crime news, statistics, and legislation. In addition to other topics such as, teacher acknowledgements, upcoming college events, tips to prepare for college, educational posts regarding career options, i.e. majors to select for specific careers, salary, best schools for a specific career, etc., and other topics as assigned. Content provided must be enough for 3 post daily, for a 5 day week.

Light11 is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to students from urban communities in honor of slain victims of violent crimes. In alignment with our mission, the organization aspires to assist urban youth with obtaining further education at the college level and bringing awareness to violent crimes in low income areas.
