Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Phoenix Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis Walk. We thank you for your consideration of this service opportunity that will bring hope to more than 1.6 million children and adults currently fighting these horrific diseases. Because of you, we find better treatments; because of you we will find cures.

Event Overview
Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis is a family-friendly walk and fundraising festival to celebrate the steps we have taken towards finding cures. The walk is also an opportunity for those who suffer from IBD to be around others who understand them, and provide support so on one has to suffer alone. We have an amazing day planned with lots of great entertainment and activities. Thank you in advance for your participation in making this event a success! Estimated Guests: 1,500

Volunteer Shift #1: 5:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. (Set-up & route marking)
Volunteer Shift #2: 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Roles include:
Event Set Up / Tear Down
Kids’ Zone
Water Stations
Route Marking - Set-Up
Booths (food, t-shirt, incentives, games etc.)
Registration
Decade of Difference Finish line Party
Route Support
