Kindred is searching for:
Veteran to Veteran Volunteers: Participate in Pinning Ceremonies. Provide the support to family and Veteran. Provide Companionship.
Patient Visitor Volunteers: Provide friendly visits to hospice patients in their home or long-term healthcare facilities, to provide companionship, caregiver relief for both the patient and family.
Administrative Volunteer: Provide office support with mailing, making calls or crafts.
Pet Therapy Volunteers: Provide caring visits to patients with their registered therapy dogs. The pet therapy volunteer team must be registered and willing to become registered.
Tuck In Volunteers: make a weekly supportive phone call to patients and families.
Bereavement Volunteers: Provide support to families through phone calls, mailings and visits-some of these tasks can be done from your home.
