This 18-year-old young man is living in a home focused on building independent living skills, but he has been having difficulties getting motivated to care about school and participate in activities. He is introverted and spends some most of his time in his room. He enjoys gaming.

In China, he was abandoned by his parents at the age of 12 and has been in refugee foster care since then, arriving in the U.S. in 2015. He could use a mentor who is willing to invest in a positive relationship with him and encourage to set and reach personal goals for school and independence.
