EcoRing promotes the greening of the tourist industry and advocates for low-carbon transportation infrastructure like bike trails, water trails and rail lines. Our website at EcoRing.org has news updates for travelers and tourist businesses seeking to green their operations. We also have a Travel Blog.

We need a travel enthusiast and environmentalist to manage and update our news feed and Travel Blog.

Managing the news feed involves locating pertinent news events, news of new trails and rail improvements, greening tips for our business partners and related information then posting them on our news feed. Items may also be suggested by our Executive Director or our Board Members. It will require skill using WordPress and an ability to work collaboratively with our Webmaster and Social Media Mangager.

Our Travel Blog features accounts of travel, suggestions for travel in the North San Francisco Bay, responsible ways to treavel without harming the environment and coming events in the North Bay sponsored by our Partners.

Writing, editing and reformatting skills will be needed and a willingness to learn WordPress. You will collaborate with our Webmaster and our Executive Director.
