At PelotonU, we serve working adults who are returning to college to earn their degree. Before every student starts in college, they go through a period we call "Academic Onboarding" to get them ready. During Academic Onboarding, students are working on refresher courses to hone their math and writing skills before they enroll in college.

For many of our students, it's been years since they've done academic writing, simplified a fraction, or been in a classroom setting - it can be a pretty overwhelming two months! One way we like to make the experience better for them is by providing tutors. What we need is a group of tutors who we can have on retainer as we find that our tutors are needed on a more on-call type of basis, based on the needs of the students. We do prefer that you intend on committing yourself to this for at least 6 months, as your commitments are very valuable to the success of our students.

That's where we're hoping you can be helpful. Would you be willing to tutor some PelotonU students in basic math (arithmetic to algebra 1), writing, computer skills and/or professional development?

We need tutors at both our Central location (500 E St Johns Ave) and our South location (2901 Montopolis) on weekdays (during the daytime and in the evenings) as well as Saturdays (daytime).
