Join the Colorado River Alliance in restoring part of E. Bouldin Creek! With the help of dedicated volunteers such as yourself we will be removing invasive plant species from the creek area within Gillis Park in Austin. We need 15 volunteers to complete this volunteer project. Ages 16 and up can participate; we're working with sharp tools.
We will provide an educational overview of notable biological and ecological features of this important urban creek.
Please note this will be an outdoor event, you will want to wear comfortable shoes as well as long pants and long sleeves that you do not mind getting dirty. A water bottle is also highly suggested.
