Taft It Middle School Girls Riding STEM Bicycle Club-Women Volunteers Needed

We are currently recruiting volunteers/mentors to assist in the implementation of our all girls STEM Bicycle Club (Girls Riding STEM). Mentors/volunteers will do just as you stated by building relationships, stimulating learning, increasing student awareness of career opportunities, and getting students motivates to learn more, mentors/volunteers will show our young ladies they too can "do that." We are currently in need of 8 mentors/volunteers for our Girls Riding STEM program, which will meet on Wednesdays from 4 pm-6 pm starting Feb. 21st and ending May 2nd.



Through the STEM Bicycle Club our young ladies (fifteen 7th & 8th graders) will speed 10 weeks making micro adjustments and reverse engineering a bike they will keep at the end of the program.
