It's going to be an egg-cellent time at Abbotts Creek Community Center on March 24th! Join our staff in coordinating and running pre-planned art projects activities, and an egg hunt!
Volunteer Duties: All volunteers will help with set-up and break down of the event. Art Project volunteers will be stationed at arts and crafts booths where they will help kids be creative. Egg Hunt Monitors will help hide eggs and then help ensure everyone is safe and having fun during the event. Lastly, the mascot will wear the bunny costume and take pictures with children. They will be accompanied by staff who will help guide them around.
Work Environment: There is the potential for a hectic atmosphere and noise since this is an event aimed at children. The event will be inside, but still come prepared for the weather. There is a restroom on site.
Volunteer Requirements: You must be at least 15 years old to volunteer. All volunteers will need to complete a volunteer release form (for volunteers under the age of 18 a parent/guardian will need to sign the volunteer form).
Group Registration Information: Registration as a volunteer is first come, first served. All volunteers must register as individuals, but if you are a part of a group, please list the group in the "Registration Notes" when signing up.
Per department policy, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed/ suggested community service hours.
