Computer Lab Intern

ORGANIZATION: Cambridge Community Television (CCTV)

One 3 hour shift per week. Assist and support users of varying skills levels in CCTV’s computer lab.
Requires excellent people and Apple computer skills.
Some experience with Final Cut Pro X, Photoshop, and other media software helpful.
Above all, patience, a cordial demeanor and the ability to be on time for your shift is crucial.

CCTV interns are expected to...

-Make a four-month commitment, unless otherwise arranged

-Work an average of 3 hours per week

-Perform all duties as outlined in internship agreement, including attending trainings, intern socials, and supervision meetings as requested


CCTV interns receive the following benefits...

-Free Access Membership for the duration of their internship

-Ability to take any and all CCTV courses for free

-Free use of CCTV’s Studio, Field, and Editing Facilities to produce cable TV programs (limited to one production at a time).-

-All other membership privileges, including ability to have produce a Live program, free access to computerCENTRAL, and ability to rent video equipment at preferred member rates.

CCTV is a nationally recognized, award winning community media center. We offer an extensive array of classes in computer and video production, thousands of hours of local programming on three community cable channels, and innovative outreach activities designed to provide Cambridge's diverse populations with access to training and technology.
