Are you a master of presentations? Love public speaking? Your experience in Marketing Communications or Public Speaking will help us provide education and raise awareness of our Food Bank services to our agencies and partners.

We are looking for training on effective presentations. The volunteer will provide training and develop templates to help us plan, prepare and deliver clear and memorable presentations.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide basic knowledge of the techniques and skills used when presenting.
• Provide an overview of the methods used to develop aids and support materials used to make an effective presentation.
• Develop templates to improve our communications

Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing and coaching communications in a community setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with staff
• Experience with Powerpoint or similar software
• Ability to work proactively and independently, communicating well with marketing staff.
• Promote the mission and activities of SHFB with enthusiasm.

We would like the training and templates by 6/30/2018.

The ideal volunteer would be available for 8-10 hours per week for a period of 2-3 months. Hours are flexible but must be agreed with the work supervisor. The volunteer may work remotely, but must be available for periodic in-person meetings with the staff.
