We offer Digital Literacy classes each month covering a variety of subjects. Many of our patrons who use our public computers need to be taught very basic skills to increase their proficiency. A number of these individuals are senior citizens, who require a patient instructor who is able to take their time with explaining how use the computer.
The class curriculum has been created and taught for several years. It consists of a series of 5 classes, taught one or two per week, lasting for 1 1/2 hours each. Class size is limited to 8, making it easy to devote attention to those who need a bit more help. These classes are taught during the day, either mid morning or early afternoon.
