We are looking for energetic individuals with great customer service skills who are looking to either learn new cash register skills or utilize their existing cash register skills! The volunteer will help to expand our services at the ReStore by assisting our lead cashier with customers at the register.
All training will be done at the ReStore- so whether you have been in retail or not, we would love to have you join our cashier team!
This will be a very specialized volunteer role so special training will be needed, and an interview with the volunteer coordinator will be required.
Please contact the volunteer coordinator Emalee Schierman at volunteer@habitat-sa.org for more information!

Mission Statement
Habitat for Humanity in Seminole County & Greater Apopka is an ecumenical, Christian housing ministry that seeks to build and renovate safe, decent, affordable housing in partnership with low- and very low-income residents in Seminole County and Apopka.
Description
While our origins are Christian in nature, we do not discriminate based on race, religion, sexual identity, age or any other factor. Simply put, we seek to give people of all backgrounds a hand up -- not a handout -- in order to ensure a better life and a brighter future. Hardworking & deserving families partner with our organization to achieve the American dream of homeownership. By proving a housing need, demonstrating their ability to pay and fulfilling their partnership requirement, partner families are transformed into homeowners. Habitat Seminole & Apopka has served nearly 130 families in its 20 years, but the need for affordable housing in our commnunity continues to grow. By partnering with local leaders, corporations & small businesses, philanthropic foundations and individuals, we hope to achieve our vision of a world in which everyone has a safe, decent, affordable place to live.
