Help Jewish Family Services assist older adults who are home bound or have limited mobility with grocery shopping. You will be assigned a senior to contact every two weeks. Input their grocery order online and pick up, at your convenience. Deliver the grocery order to their home, and spend a few minutes saying hello. It is such a simple task with limited time commitment, but it makes an enormous difference in the daily life of the recipients.

All volunteers must complete a volunteer application and submit to a criminal background check.

Description
A nonsectarian, nonprofit organization, JFS provides services to individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds. The social workers and volunteers are like an extended family to many of the isolated individuals we serve. Responding to the needs of the community, JFS offers counseling, case management, and an array of other services that help constituents to successfully address a broad range of issues.
