ORGANIZATION: Rescuing Leftover Cuisine Inc

RLC

The incumbent will prep for, facilitate and provide notes from the discussion. The project will take place in Manhattan. Project bids should include all travel expenses. RLC will not cover costs outside of the stated fees. Candidates should bring their own laptop and any other materials that might be needed. Whiteboards and markers will be provided. RLC seeks a candidate who has experience facilitating and can keep the discussion on track. Candidate will meet with RLC staff, at a mutually suitable time and before the retreat, to discuss goals and agenda of the meeting. These will be determined by the staff and board in advance of this engagement. Who may apply: Anyone with a Master's degree (in anthropology, sociology, public administration and/or business administration). Prior facilitation experience is helpful but not necessary. Requested: a short cover email outlining why you might be the ideal candidate for this project, access to your LinkedIn profile, and two references. References will only be contacted if an offer is made. A reference of a prior facilitation project will be considered favorably.

Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) is a nonprofit organization committed to fighting food insecurity and preventing wasted food. We have cultivated a network of dedicated food rescuers who bring food directly from our food donors to nonprofit recipients, letting neighbors help neighbors while reaping the environmental and economic benefits of reducing wasted food. Founded in 2013, our simple, but elegant model has saved over 8 million pounds of food since our inception.
