As you share your love this month, celebrating Valentine's Day, we are hoping that you will open your heart to our patients, too, and start on the path to becoming a Hospice Volunteer.
Hospice Volunteers provide the extra support and attention to patients, and their caregivers, that help them get through an unsettling and difficult time. Making respite visits, providing companionship and sitting vigil are the main activities that'll be asked to do.
We also welcome and encourage those with special skills, like Reiki, Healing Touch, Pet Therapy and Massage, to get involved, too.
On February 15th, we are hosting a Kick-Off to Training session.
If you are interested in attending this session, or exploring this type of VOLUNTEERING, please request an Introductory Packet, by applying to this post.
