About

The American Red Cross responds daily to disasters locally and throughout the country. Sample disaster response activities include: Individual Client Services (casework, health services and emotional care), Mass Care (feeding and sheltering), Logistics, Public Affairs and Disaster Services Technology. Each Red Cross disaster response activity has its own training and experience requirements for assignment. These requirements will be discussed during your 1:1 interview.

This position also allows you to be deployed for national emergencies such as the hurricanes that swept through Puerto Rico, Texas, and Florida.
