The Student Wellness Advisory Board (SWAB) consists of students who will work closely with the Wellness Services Department. They will provide feedback from a student's perspective as well as advocate for the health and wellness of all TCC students.
Requirements: -Be currently enrolled at TCC and be in good academic and disciplinary standing -Interested in their own health and wellness -Interested in and committed to improving the health and wellness of the TCC community -One semester commitment as well as attending monthly meetings and fulfilling participation hours Benefits: -Students gain the opportunity to collaborate with their peers, Wellness Services, other departments, student organizations and community partners -Students obtain experience in multiple areas that will help strengthen interpersonal skills and build their resumes -Students receive a letter of involvement that will explain and highlight participation
