Lunch Sponsors provide on-site lunch for our Duxbury build day volunteers!

Why we need assistance with lunch...

South Shore Habitat for Humanity works with thousands of volunteers each year. As a local affiliate, we are responsible for our own fundraising, home construction, family selection, and volunteer recruitment. Unfortunately, our affiliate does not have sufficient funds allocated to provide lunch to all of our volunteers on a regular basis. Lunches served on-site allow our volunteers to experience a sense of fellowship and allow for more productivity throughout the workday. We are looking for community members to participate in this program to further your knowledge of Habitat for Humanity, to contribute to a charitable organization, and give back to the community. Commitments range from providing lunch once to "adopting" a crew to feed weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

Habitat for Humanity does not give its homes away, we offer simple, decent, affordable homeownership opportunities to low-income households earning no more than 60% of the area median income through a 30 year interest free mortgage.
