Come help us get everything ready to turn a house into a home! Prior to delivery of furniture, we meet our clients in their homes, assess their needs, and ask for their wish list including desired colors and styles. We then use this list to select furniture and household items that are then cleaned, tagged and packed for delivery. We start at 7:30am at our storage unit, Armored Self Storage, 14245 S. 48th Street, Phoenix, 85044. A Volunteer Waiver and Confidentiality Agreement must be signed before work can begin. Able-bodied volunteers may be asked to help lift heavy furniture. There are less strenuous volunteer positions as well. Ending time is tentative based on number of families we are packing for, but usually ends by 11:30am.
