Help us make a wiki for all good ideas

About

In this day and age all nonprofits need to have a good video for their organization. It helps them do everything from crowdfund, to increasing the organizations 'reach', thereby increasing their ability to make a positive impact.

We want to make the most useful tools for citizens, activists, and scientists the world has ever seen, but we need help editing the footage and interviews we already have, in a way that accurately communicates the potential impact of our information technology.

We want to create the wikipedia of ideas and proposals for problems. Where Wikipedia gives us an Open repository of descriptions of things, we want an open repository for all the best ideas on Earth.

When there's a problem we want people to be able to see their options listed in detail, side by side, rated, and even thoroughly debated. -and refined.

And we want the network to go far beyond "politics". This is about touching upon the very meaning of "optimization". It's an optimization network, for everything from random hobbies & theories, to matters of grave importance, such as funding to infrastructure, and "law".

This means creating a video for our organization is extreeemely challenging. First of all it's like trying to paint the color of neutral. Our tools can be used for anything (ethically-acceptable), direct-democracy, direct-action, snacks, it's 'scope' is just insane.

Oh and if we promise too much, people tune out. -But if the video's good enough they might not, theoretically with a project like this, one good video could seriously inspire thousands or even millions of people. Information technology is literally a matter of life or death, and a wikipedia for options would help life saving ideas spread like wildfire. Each city can learn from each other, and from the world stage discussions.

That can be an awful lot to 'sell' the audience on though, so at this point we'd be more than happy just to have a decent little video that shows people we're trying to build a 'wiki' for all good ideas.
