Columbia Art League is a community, non-profit arts organization based in Columbia, Missouri. We focus on visual art exhibitions and education. We have a small team of employees and rely on our volunteers to staff our gallery.
Volunteers sit at our reception desk to conduct sales, interact with patrons, answer questions, and help with other small tasks, as needed. The commitment is minimal- volunteers are asked to help once a week for three hours.
Volunteers are expected to be responsible and reliable, as they will be handling money and working on a schedule. This is a wonderful, fun, and professional experience that would bolster any resume and contribute to your knowledge of how galleries and non-profits operate.
This opportunity is open to adults of all ages and requires little to no physical effort. It is perfect for anyone who loves meeting new people and is inspired by art. No prior knowledge is required.
Please contact us if you're interested, and we can discuss available shifts. We hope you'll become a part of the CAL team!

Mission Statement
The Mission of the Columbia Art League is to provide the community with a stimulating environment for experiencing the visual arts through exhibitions, education, appreciation, promotion and creation of art.
Description
The Columbia Art League is a non-profit, community arts organization that fosters high quality arts education and gallery exhibitions. We host week long classes and workshops, in addition to the visual arts exhibitions in our gallery. In June, we put together the largest art festival in Mid-Missouri showcasing 110 artists to our visitors. In addition to arts education and exhibition, we are focused on providing an environment that fosters creativity, celebrates diversity, and promotes inclusivity. We have programs and fundraisers that bring art to every sector of the community.
