Spring coaches are needed to work with our nine competitive teams from January to May. Coaches work directly with our student-athletes in the Southern Dallas region. Bridge Lacrosse is a small sports-based youth development nonprofit serving the urban communities of North Texas. Our mission is to use lacrosse to broaden the horizons of our community's youth. In 2004, our programming began with a simple summer lacrosse camp in South Dallas. In 2008, we officially became Bridge Lacrosse. We have introduced lacrosse to hundreds of student-athletes in both South and West Dallas, providing hours of high-quality lacrosse instruction with the help of high school volunteers and coaches. We believe that our programs can be an integral part of youth development in the urban communities we serve. #bridgefamily

Description
We, the Bridge Family, are a sports-based youth development nonprofit serving the urban communities of North Texas. In 2004, our programming began with a small summer lacrosse camp in South Dallas. In 2008, we officially became Bridge Lacrosse after seeing incredible progress in programming, and even greater opportunities to impact youth. Since then, we have introduced the sport of lacrosse to thousands of student-athletes in South Dallas, West Dallas and Oak Cliff, as well as other surrounding neighborhoods. We provide hours of high-quality lacrosse instruction, with the help of high school volunteers and coaches, as well as provide new experiences and opportunities for personal growth. Our greater purpose is to use this unique and nontraditional sport to help close the opportunity gap that exists in many areas of North Texas. We believe that sports can be an integral part of a child's development.
