We have been accepted by the Guinness Book of Worlds Record Organization. We are attempting to set a record with the Guiness Book of World Records for the largest single basset breed dog walk record of 764. We need one dog walker per dog and many other volunteer positions are needed. Please consider being a part of this history making event and volunteer with us. Mission Statement
Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue takes in nearly 300 Bassets a year from the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York areas. At any one point in time, we will have 30 to 60 Bassets in our system. Some are in foster homes, some are currently with their owners waiting for us to place them and the rest need to be boarded in a commercial facility. Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue incurs cost for: Kenneling fees Medications Basic vet care, including shots and neutering Advanced vet care, ranging from ear infections, allergies and dental to severe medical problems.
