The mission of the Earth Day Omaha Coalition is to organize, direct and produce the city’s annual Earth Day event, providing a showcase for the many charitable, scientific and educational efforts advocating for sustainable environmental practices and lifestyles.
Every year, dozens of volunteers help make Earth Day Omaha a reality. We need people before, during and after the event to contribute to our success.

The Earth Day Omaha Coalition is dedicated to increasing public awareness of environmental issues through annual Earth Day events and activities. The Earth Day Omaha Coalition is affiliated with Earth Day Network, the international organization coordinating Earth Day events worldwide.

Description
Our event is held on Saturday, April 18th and open to the community. We host a variety of exhibitors that educate our community on earth-friendly activities, products, organizations, and ideas. We also operate a small farmer's market, host food vendors, provide a stage for local and nationally known musical acts and speakers, maintain a children's tent, and offer a selection of health and wellness activities. Rain or shine, we provide an afternoon of activities and educational expereinces for all ages.
